People decide that NLP is for them for a number of different reasons. Being curious about ourselves and others is what makes us human, and because NLP is primarily about the exploration of our subjective experience, we can use NLP to explore further who we are, what we do, and our reasons for doing it!
It doesn't take a genius to realise that having good people skills is an essential part of being successful, and studies have shown us that the people who are the most successful, are those with high interpersonal, or Emotional Intelligence (EI) levels - in whatever area of life you look at.
NLP is a great way to increase your EI, and by doing this you are giving yourself the best opportunity in life to be successful, happy and fulfilled in whatever you decide to do
Choosing to do an NLP course is a very personal thing - whether it's for work or career reasons, personal development and enhancement or simply to widen our knowledge base, we know that NLP has something to offer everyone!
Many people choose to train in NLP as part of their development as life and career coaches, as many of the skills and techniques found within NLP form the basis for success in these areas. As such, we would recommend our open NLP programmes at Practitioner and Master practitioner levels, as they offer the most comprehensive and applicable NLP skills development available
Some of the reasons given to us in the past include wanting to communicate better with their teenagers, wanting to explore changes in themselves and their life situation, looking to change jobs, increasing their marketability, finding out what their friends were all talking about and wanting something to help them get out of a rut! ........and that's in addition to being 'told' to go on it from work, using it for communication and work advantages and adding NLP to their repertoire as therapists, psychologists and health workers!
There is no doubt that human beings are fascinating, changeable, infuriating, fickle and downright perplexing at times - and isnt' that great! What a fantastic reason to find out a little bit more about what makes others - and ourselves tick!
Whatever someone's reason for coming on an NLP course, they're all individual to that person, and whatever it is, most people will have one, so the question is, what's your reason for training with us?
