NLP for PE Teachers
Actually, NLP for ALL teachers! Over recent years NLP has found it's way into more and more schools because of it's ease of application, friendly nature and emphasis on understanding different learning styles and communicating to accommodate that.
NLP in the school sports lesson is the same. Many PE teachers train with us because of their love for sport and their love for teaching and they want to make a dfifference to the children and teenagers they teach.

- Communicate effectively with everyone in the group
- 'Chunk' information easily to explain the session clearly to all
- Give responsibility to your groups to develop leadership skills and self awareness
- Help spot problems or aspects of bullying and be better equiped to deal with it
- Be more effective when giving team talks and motivating your school teams
- Be confident and clear when 'officiating' games and matches
- Encourage outcome thinking and looking for the positives in sessions and games
NLP gives us a great opportunity to be not good teachers but great teachers, after all, I bet if you think back to the person who inspired you to become a teacher, it wasn't because they had the most qualifications, could draw on the board well or dashed off early each day to get home ........ so what was it?
