How many people do you normally have on your programmes?
Depending on the programme, anywhere from 12 to 24 people. The average is about 16, and we use assistants where needed to ensure quality learning.
Can I get support after the course has finished?
Absolutely! We love to hear from our Practitioner and Master Practitioner graduates and are happy for you to get in touch with any questions you may have within your practice. Our quarterly e-newsletter will also keep you up to date with new areas and generally keep your NLP skills in tip top form! We also have a Facebook page where we have discussions, videos, etc so please join us.
Do you offer any discounts or special offers?
Sometimes and as these vary throughout the year and from programme to programme, it's best to give us a call to see what's available. We always offer group discounts for people booking and paying together, and there are also discounts if you book and pay for more than one course at a time.
What are your venues like?
First Class! We use two main centers, the first being Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher, Surrey, which provides us with great views over the course, Wembley Stadium and The City of London in the distance and the opportunity to use the 9 hole golf course, sample the delights of the local bars and restaurants and even have a go at skiing or snowboarding on the local dry slopes! They have great conferencing facilities and services as well, which is really why we're there! Our other venue is The Kia Oval in Vauxhall, London which as any cricket fan knows is the home of Surrey County Cricket and also the venue of the final test in the Ashes Series between England and Australia!
We also sometimes use Parkstead House, another beautiful old venue, based at Roehampton University which again offers great surroundings and rooms, overlooking Richmond Park.
What are your Terms and Conditions?
You can find our Terms and Conditions for all our products and courses by clicking here.
What if I'm unhappy with the course?
Well, although we have never had anyone unhappy with their training, sometimes people make a mistake in their choice. We are careful to ensure you are happy with the booking you make and we NEVER do pressure selling - when you book it's because you want to book - in your time. So, in the unlikely event you believe that the course is not delivering what it claims to deliver, then you will be entitled to your money back on proof that you are not receiving the training that we have advertised. For full details, please see our Terms and Conditions
Where did you do your trainers training?
All the trainers and assistants used by us are trained by Inside Performance and are all experienced trainers, coaches and in some cases, hypnotherapists. We also have the benefit of training with some of the world's best NLP trainers, such as Robert Dilts, Suzi Smith, Ian McDermott and David Shepherd - bringing strength in depth and also a broad knowledge base to everything we do.
How many assistants do you use?
That depends on the number of people on our trainings. We limit the amount of people we have on our programmes as we believe it gives you a more in-depth approach to your learning so we make a call for each individual training.
How do you get to assist?
When you graduate from your course, simply let us know you are interested and we will include you on our assistants list. Then, when the opportunity arises, you can come along - a great way to refresh and deepen your knowledge from a totally different perspective.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. The costs quoted include all manuals, pre-learning materials, certification fees and refreshments.
Are you insured?
Yes. Although the work we do is safe, and we all adhere to the codes of conduct of the ABNLP, ABH, BASES and the BPS, ensuring a safe and ethical learning environment, public and private liability insurance is essential, and we are fully covered....just in case!
What subjects do you cover on the practitioner course?
For information on the content of all our programmes, please go to the relevant page on the website
Are your courses approved by anyone?
Inside Performance and its trainings are accredited by the ABNLP (American Board of NLP), the Time Line Therapy Association and the American Board of Hypnotherapy to ensure specific standards of training and ethics are met. All certification programmes such as the NLP Practitioner for Sport and NLP Master Practitioner programmes, upon successful completion, will offer certification that is accredited by the ABNLP.
You have a strong emphasis on Sport - are all of your attendees from a sport background?
No. We run a highly acclaimed sport specific NLP practitioner course which is tailored towards High Performance for Sport, but we have also had people attending from business backgrounds who are interested in the transfer from sport to business. Of course, if you don't like sport, then we wouldn't recommend the sport programme to you!
If this is the case, we run an in-house Performance Practitioner for individuals from all walks of life, and this diversity creates an interesting and varied learning environment, and allows those attending to experience situations, issues and stories that they may not have come across before - as well as the ones they have! Please Contact Us if you are interested in NLP training for your business
Does the NLP & Sport Psychology Home Learning Programme certify you as an NLP Practitioner?
No, this programme is a great way to have access to all the learning and materials from our NLP Practitioner for Sport Programme. So you can develop your NLP skills before choosing to join us on the Practitioner course and receive all the additional benefits of an Inside Performance programme as well as certification as an NLP Practitioner. We’ll even give you a £250 voucher off the course with prior learning from the Home Learning Programme.
The Home Learning pack is ideal for anyone who can’t quite commit to the full practitioner course right now, isn’t interested in certification but would just like to get to grips with the info and skills in their own time, or if you’re already a Practitioner or Master Practitioner looking to add sport to your NLP skills base.
Is there any exam to do in the Home Learning Programme?
No exams or tests, just follow the programme through in your own time and in your own preferred way. We recognise that everyone has their own unique learning style, so the pack is designed for you to be flexible in how you approach it and assess yourself in your own time and experience. And for the more structured people out there, we also have a guide to how you could potentially follow the programme through to get the most out of your NLP learning.
How much one-on-one work have your trainers done?
Everyone who trains for Inside Performance is both qualified and experienced in training and one-to-one work, and their background denotes what particular work they have done (therapeutic, coaching, sport psych etc.) ...and of course, everyone that works with us is experienced in their own areas, so we only ever match a client to someone who is qualified to meet those particular needs.
How do the one-to-one sessions work? How many sessions will I need?
Because we're all different, it's difficult to say how many sessions you’re likely to need. We like to make sure that everyone who sees us knows exactly how the process works and that they’re comfortable with it. Therefore we will invite you for an initial 30min chat or phone call free of charge, to speak to someone confidentially about the area you would like to work with and how we’ll work together to get there. Then if you’re happy, we’ll go ahead with the session(s) at the agreed rate. We will give you an honest opinion about whether we feel there is someone here who can help you, and if we can't, we'll do our best to recommend someone who can.
Please call us for an informal, no obligation chat.
As questions are asked, we will add them to the list, so please feel free to ask away......

NLP Sport Practitioner Course
What is the difference between each NLP Sport Practitioner course option?
Options Two and Three use the same online material exactly. So if you opt for either two or three, then what you will do online will be exactly the same.
The difference between two and three is that with option three you attend a face to face three day programme where you go over the practical elements from your course, with options to ask questions, get feedback and really get to grips with the techniques under ‘live’ guidance.
Both options two and three have assessments, you can monitor progress, you gain CPD points for completing each module and you’ll get certificates of completion (two) and accreditation (three) when you pass.
Option one has no required assessments so this is an ideal course for individuals just interested in the knowledge but not in certificates or assessments.
Can I upgrade my option at a later date? Including adding on the face to face training?
Yes. You can upgrade to either option two or three from option one with an additional payment at a later date. (so you can do the assessment). You can also upgrade from option two to option three by paying for the applied training at a later date too, so they are entirely flexible.
Why can I not download the course?
In order to run an interactive and monitored course, we need access to your progress which is not possible once material is downloaded. Without this we can’t offer CPD points or certification.
Why are the courses time limited?
This is due to the costs of the user platform to run these courses on. This is an interactive course, and as such, wouldn't run if you were to download it without you having to buy very expensive software! So, although there is a time allocation included in your initial subscription, you will be able to extend the length of your course for as long as you would like for a small monthly fee. (£20 per month as at July 2017). Simply let us know if you want to extend your access time.
Do I get support?
Yes. There a dedicated email address that you can use once you are logged in to report any issues or problems (please see our guidelines regarding web browsers broadband access). If you’d like support with the content, then you can book online, face to face sessions with qualified coaches who will assist you with your learning.
How long will it take me to complete?
That’s down to you – some people whizz through it and then go back to things, other take their time and work through methodically – it’s really down to your learning style and preferences. On average most people are completing the NLP Sport Practitioner within 4 to 6 months.
